C.A.W.M. Character Interview, Blog Tour, & Giveaway

I was pleased that I was able to get the opportunity to sit down with Natalie Conner and Luke Williams from Kristen Proby's upcoming debut novel Come Away With Me.

These two are absolutely adorable together and we had fun just talking.  I'm not sure Luke really knew how to answer some of my questions because he is such a private person and I'm so... well, curious? no that's not right... how about dirty minded?  yeah, that sounds better.   But he was a great sport about it, not to mention I had some fun making him squirm!

Thank you both so much for sitting down with me today! How have you both been?

Natalie: Thanks for having us, Lori!

Luke:  We’re doing very well, thank you. Twines his fingers with Nat’s and kisses her hand.

Lori:  Aww, y’all are so cute!

Natalie, I’ve love to know what exactly it was that changed your mind about going out with Luke?

Natalie: *Smirks at Luke* Well, look at him! *Winks at Lori.*

Luke: I knew you only wanted me for my body!

Nat: It’s a nice body. *Smiles innocently*

Luke: What about my charming personality?

Nat: Uh, if you remember correctly, you did not show me your charming personality when we met.

Lori: She’s got you on both points Luke.  *Winks at Nat*

Luke: And yet, here we are.

Luke, What was it about Natalie that gave you that “I’ve got to have this woman” feeling?

Luke: Her charming personality. *Smiles smugly at Natalie, who glares at him*  Okay, really it was her smart mouth. I never know what she’s going to say!

Lori:  You like a smart mouth huh?  *Smiles mischievously*

Luke:  I love Nat’s smart mouth, yes.  *Luke smiles charmingly, then blushes when Lori smiles back and licks her lips.*

Lori:  Nice save lover boy!  You must have known I was trying to get you to walk right into that one.  *Winks at Luke*

Alright guys... I’m dying to hear about the first kiss!

Luke: No comment.

Nat: Don’t be a jerk. *Rolls her eyes*

Luke: No comment.

Nat: Fine, I’ll talk about it. Lori, one word: HOT. When Luke kisses, it’s just freaking hot.

*Luke smiles over at Nat and kisses her cheek*

Luke: Don’t print that. Print No Comment.

Lori:  Thanks Nat.  *smiles at Natalie*  Luke, I can’t print No Comment, my readers want to know.  Come on give me something, or better yet kiss me and I’ll tell them all about it. *smiles at Luke.*

Luke: As tempting as you are, darlin’, Natalie doesn’t like my lips on anyone but her.

Lori:  *whispers under her breath* Damn.

Luke, you seemed to have found yourself in a situation that had Nat questioning your loyalty to her. What were you feeling when you realized what she had seen?

Luke: No comment.

Nat: For the love of Moses, Luke! The whole world saw it, you might as well talk about it.

Luke: *Luke grimaces, sighs and then takes a deep breath*  Honestly, my world stopped. I never want to hurt Nat, and although that wasn’t something I could control, it hurt her. I’ll never let that happen again.

Lori: *Looks at Natalie and smiles*  Aww, doesn’t that make you want to kiss him all over?

Nat: It does. I think I will.

Lori:  Want some help?

Luke: Gee, look at the time. I guess we should be going…

Natalie, I’m dying to know... what was the best part of being seduced by THE Luke Williams?

Luke: No comment.

Lori: *Rolls her eyes at Luke.*  Well it looks like you’re going to be a lot of fun in this interview.  That is the fifth time you’ve told me No Comment.

Luke: You know how I feel about publicity, Lori. Did Kristen put you up to this? Where is she, anyway??

Lori:  Of course Kristen didn’t put me up to this, she actually warned me that you’d be a pain in the ass! *Winks at Luke*  I’m not sure where she is, probably off spending time with Nate and Jules.  Now there is a man I bet would…umm… properly cooperate in an interview.

Nat: Ignore him. *Natalie glares at Luke and then smiles at Lori*  The best part? Hmm… Coffee.

Luke: Coffee? That’s the best part.

Nat: Don’t judge me. You had me at Starbucks.

Lori:  Nat you’re a lucky girl! 

Luke, Your brother Mark seems quite adorable! Is he single?

Luke: Now, this I’ll comment on. *Winks at Lori* Mark is very single. I’d be happy to give you his number… *pulls his phone out of his pocket.*

Nat: Oh! A double date! How fun!

Lori: Hold that thought!  I need to call my husband and ask him if I can add another name to my “list” *smiles at Luke and Natalie while pulling out her phone*  Okay, we’re good to go… give him a call hot stuff.

Nat: You heard the woman, give him a call. *She smiles sweetly at him and Luke grins*

Luke: Better yet, I’ll just give you his number.

Natalie, I absolutely love your profession! How can I schedule an appointment and can Luke be one of my “props”?

Nat: Lori, if we hadn’t already spent so much time on the phone and texting preparing for this interview, I might be a bit miffed at the suggestion of using Luke as your prop. But… I like you, so…

Luke *interrupts* No.  Sorry, sugar, but I’m Natalie’s arm candy these days.

Lori:  *whispers under her breath*  Damn.

Nat: Yeah, that’s what I was gonna say.  But I’d love to work with you! Call me, we’ll set up a time. I’ll make sure Luke’s there for inspiration. *Natalie winks at Lori and Luke sighs in resignation*

Lori:  Yay!  Can he be shirtless?  Or better yet can Mark or one of Jules brothers be there?  Shirtless?

Nat: Absolutely. Six shirtless men should definitely get you in the right mood!

Lori:  Six!  Nice!  Now of course this will all be hands on right?

Nat: Well, duh, is there any other way to go?

Luke: *Mutters under his breath* I need a drink.

Luke, are you working on anything special at the moment? If not, I’ve got an idea for you...

Luke: I have several projects in the works now.

Lori:  You’re so vague…. Will any of your projects be something that will interest me?  Because, my ideas more than interest me...  *Look Luke up and down while a slow lazy smile spreads across her lips*

Nat: I’m interested to hear your ideas…?

Lori:  Hmm, I’m thinking I want to avoid more “No Comments” and it looks like Luke is squirming a little over there so how about we have one of our chats and I’ll tell you all about them?  I think a few of them you two might want to try out…

Luke: I could use a drink. Why don’t we call this a wrap and go grab a drink?

Lori:  Am I making you uncomfortable Luke?  *Tries to look sweet and innocent but can’t help the smile that spreads across her face.*

Luke: You know damn well you’re making me uncomfortable, and I think you’re enjoying it.

Lori: You better believe it! *Smiles at Luke.*

Nat, How about we call Jules and see if you’d like to meet us for some shopping and dinner? *Looks at Luke* This is where you offer us your card big boy!

Nat: Absolutely! We’re due for a shopping day. *Looks at Luke* Yeah, hand the card over, big boy.

Luke: You can have whatever you want, baby.

Nat: You’re so sweet. *Kisses his cheek.*

Lori:  Aww, you are so sweet.  YAY!  Shopping!  With Luke’s credit card! 

Before we go, can I give you a hug Luke?

Luke: Of course, gorgeous. *Stands up and wraps Lori in a big hug. Lori grabs Luke’s ass, making him jump and pull back, eyes wide in surprise. Natalie laughs hysterically.*

Nat: That was awesome. C’mere, baby, I want to grab your ass too.

Lori:  *giggling.*  Now that is one fine ass!  Is Mark’s ass that perfect too?

Nat: Mark is a carbon copy of his brother, Lori… here, I have photos on my phone…

Lori:  *Looks at Nat’s pictures.* Yum… forget shopping, how about that double date?
